Our Commitment to Quality

It is the policy of Bahnson, Inc., including Bahnson Mechanical Systems, to provide products and services of a quality which meet or exceed contractual requirements and customer expectations. We recognize quality cannot be a single organizational responsibility but is rather a total business commitment. Toward that end, as indicated in our core values, the quality of our products and services creates customer satisfaction and is of, therefore, the highest priority; that is how we build repeat business and continue financial success.

Our employees work at all levels with customers to provide quality products and services that always meet or exceed their expectations, including those projects that may be impossible, difficult, or undesirable by our competitors.  Management commits the resources and creates an environment in which each employee can contribute skills, talents and ideas to a continuous process of improvement and innovation in all aspects of our business.

Our goal is to develop and provide products and services of high quality to fully satisfy the needs of our customers and to meet all relevant contractual and regulatory requirements.  We are committed to:

  • Consistent quality
  • Customer service and satisfaction
  • Continuous improvement.

BMS furnishes diversified products and services to many different industries with the level of documented quality of these products and services varying according to customer and regulatory requirements. To meet these varying requirements, BMS has developed and implemented the Bahnson Quality Assurance Manual which provides the guiding principles whereby the required quality levels shall be achieved. The quality assurance manual was developed in the early 1970s and has been implemented and audited on numerous projects since its development. The manual fully complies with the requirements and intent of the following:

  • Code of Federal Regulations Part 10, Section 50, Appendix B; Part 10, Section 830
  • American National Standards Institute Publication N45.2
  • American Society of Mechanical Engineers Publication NQA-1; base and supplemental requirements.
  • U.S. Department of Energy Order 414.1A

BMS provides full mechanical services, including hygienic piping, process piping, HVAC and plumbing for Life Sciences operations throughout the United States. In the mid 1990’s BMS developed and implemented its quality assurance program to support the company’s fabrication and field construction activities for the installation of piping systems within the guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) evolving from this effort have enabled Bahnson to execute projects effectively and consistently producing high quality levels in a wide range of installations over the past several years.
